What was the highlight of Mercure Paris Gare De Lyon Opera Bastille
A pleasant night in a convenient location
The hotel was very quiet despite being two blocks from the Gare de Lyon. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, the amenities were good, and the free drink was much appreciated. The bathroom was a decent size for a Parisian hotel and there was a real wall/door between the room and the bathroom - a rarity now adays but a must for a family with children.
There was some water damage in the bathroom under the window so some parts of the hotel could use updating. The hotel name also makes it nearly impossible to google. Without the address, I would have ended up at the wrong Mercure Gare De Lyon hotel

Great location, welcoming people.
Very close to Gare de Lyon, clean bathroom and bedroom. Nice welcome drink, but limited choice! Good selection of toiletries etc and mini bar drinks
Very warm bed ( possibly waterproof under sheets??) which meant we woke up very hot. Paper cups for all drinks felt a bit cheap really and not in keeping with the price charged.

The staff was very nice and welcoming. The hotel itself is not bad. The bathroom flooding was my biggest annoyance. The
The boutique like decor was very nice. The location was very convenient. Close to the gate de Lyon and plenty of restaurants and cafes a short walk away.
The bathroom needs to some attention. Although the overall cleanliness was good, there were stains (hope not mold) on the bathroom walls. The wall paper has seen better days. The shower sitting high up was not very ideal. The water didn’t drain properly causing a flood after every shower. Not very vacation vibe when have to mop up the floor constantly.
